Questions About the Victoria Shambhala Council?
Wondering what the Victoria Shambhala Council has been up to lately? If you’re a centre member, you can find out and stay in the loop by reading the monthly meeting minutes. And you can access the minutes online.
Minutes dating back to late 2011 are posted in the Victoria Shambhala Council group on the Shambhala Network. (Thank you, Maria Stella, for getting that ball rolling.)
How to access the Council meeting minutes:
- Get a Shambhala Account (if you don’t already have one).
- Go to the Victoria Shambhala Council group on the Shambhala Network. (You’ll need your Shambhala Account username and password, and you’ll have to request membership in the Victoria Shambhala Council group the first time you visit.)
- Click the “Files” tab.
The Victoria Shambhala Council is the main governing body of the centre. Its job is to guide, support and harmonize all of the centre’s activities according to the vision of creating enlightened society. Centre membership is the only prerequisite for participation.
