Harvest of Peace fall potluck at the Shambhala Mediation Centre

Come celebrate the Autumn Equinox and the International Day of Peace Saturday Sept 21st starting at 3 pm at the Victoria Shambhala centre.

Harvest of Peace began as an annual event several years ago in the international Shambhala community to celebrate our connection to the earth and the vision of a just and peaceful world.

In the spirit of a country fair, expect a full afternoon and evening with great people, food from the harvest, a BBQ, games (for adults and kids), music and more.

The Harvest of Peace celebration begins at 3 pm with the traditional pre recorded address from  Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.  There will be old-time games and contests, including prizes for the biggest zucchini and best home made pie. The BBQ and potluck starts around 6 pm followed by a variety talent show open to all who wish to perform.  The evening ends with a full moon viewing and bonfire.

Help us bring the party!   We are looking for:

    >Fun prizes to give away – services, products, or????  If you have a business that would like to contribute something to the evening please let us know.  We would be happy to acknowledge it during the evening.
