“I loved this so very much. Come one, come all! Any camera will do, and it is so grounding. I still see the world differently today—a wonderful gift. I look forward to exploring it further.” —Rebecca H., a recent participant

Suitable for beginners and professional photographers alike, this workshop is for anyone interested in the creative process and curious about mindfulness meditation and the art of seeing—experiencing the everyday world with fresh eyes and fresh appreciation. All are welcome.

The focus is not on having a camera in your hand; rather, we will develop the ability to synchronize our mind and eye so that our habitual patterns of seeing and labeling could dissolve in a moment of stunning, vivid perception.

Through visual exercises and assignments we will develop confidence in our ability to connect directly with what we see, stay fully present with the perception as we come to understand its qualities, and then express our experience precisely with our cameras.

The workshop will be led by professional photographer Charles Blackhall and Kerry Crofton. Both are mindfulness meditation teachers.
