Children's Day

December 17th (2017)

    Room: Community Room

Things are progressing nicely on plans for our Victoria Shambhala Winter Solstice Celebration of light, music and basic goodness, that we call Children’s Day. It is the fall Nyida day celebration at the winter solstice and is one of inclusion, confidence and respect. We include the whole community in this celebration. It is respecting and honouring the children in ourselves as well as the children in our community and is manifesting the confidence of basic goodness and the light of our solar sun. Please spread the word and share light, brightness and joy as we approach the darkest days of the year.

A king and the queen have accepted our invitation to come and engage with the children of our community and all who aspire for freshness and release.

In the past we have enjoyed discovering the most appreciated pie made by a member and we invite all pie makers to once again rise to the moment and produce delightful desserts. Although we have no award for the best finger foods everyone may contribute to the tastiness of our gathering.

You are invited to come, be, see and do more than breathe with children and fellow warriors of Shambhala, on Sunday December 17th from 1:00 to 4 and beyond.

Bring your voice and your dancing feet.
