Join us for this gentle introduction to the practice of Mindfulness Meditation.

Saturday November 14th from 10 to 1pm

In this three-hour course, participants will be provided with introductory tools and teachings for practicing meditation. With simple instructions and support, mindfulness meditation practice can become part of our lives, bringing greater stability, strength, and clarity.

The program will include instruction, guidance, sitting practice, and walking meditation.

Covid Protocols:

  • The number of participants will be limited to allow for adequate social distancing 
  • If you are experiencing symptoms, have had known contact, or been in a large group, please stay home. 
  • Please arrive promptly and wait outside, leaving appropriate space.
  • Minimize personal belongings (please leave at home or in your car if possible)
  • You will be met by a Greeter who will guide you. They will confirm your contact info in case of tracing needs.
  • You must have a mask with you and use it if social distancing is not possible. We recommend the use of masks.
  • You will be directed to sanitize your hands and proceed to your cushion.

It is suggested to wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing. There will be a break midway through. Participants are asked to bring their own snack and mug (and/or water bottle). The Centre will be pleased to provide various tea options and hot water for self-serve during the break.
