Day of Meditation: Nyinthun

    Room: 1st Floor Meditation Hall

    Details: A day-long meditation intensive, or Nyinthun, is a great way to deepen and energize
    your meditation practice.
    During a Nyinthun, periods of sitting meditation are interspersed with walking meditation,
    shamatha yoga, and time for study and reflection.
    Practice starts promptly at 9 AM with opening chants. Tea and Coffee will be available, Please
    bring your own lunch - fridge and microwave are available. We'll resume practice at 1 PM, then
    end our day with closing chants at 5:00 pm
    Although Nyinthun is best experienced in its entirety, people are free to arrive and leave at any
    time. Meditators of any tradition or experience level are welcome. Basic meditation instruction
    will be provided for those who request it from 10-noon.
