*Covid and other communicable diseases are still a concern for elderly and vulnerable populations. If you are sick we ask that you please wait till you are feeling better before joining a public sitting practice. Thank you!

Tuesday Open House

Tuesdays , 6:30 – 8:30 PM | Open to all | 
Open House is a great opportunity to sit with others and connect with the Shambhala community. Mindfulness meditation instruction is available for people new to the practice. Group sitting is followed by an optional short dharma talk or book study and discussion. Check the calendar for upcoming talks.

Sunday Morning Meditation

Please join us in this free weekly community sit from 10:00-11:30am followed by tea and social time. All are welcome.

Wednesday Morning Meditation

Wednesday, 9:00 am – 10:30 am| Open to all |
Wednesday Morning is continuing online from 9:00-10:30am. Sitting is from 9:00-9:30am and those who wish to remain for some conversation (and coffee) will have an opportunity to talk with one another from 9:30-10:30am.

Cowichan Valley Sittings Online

Public MeditationJoin the Cowichan Valley Meditation Group online for a half hour of meditation practice four times each week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at 7:45 AM. Senior teachers Rebecca and Mark Hazell will lead each session, and there will be an opportunity for discussion about meditation practice following each practice session.

Meditators outside the Cowichan Valley are also invited to participate.
